Blog vs. Web Site?
So my interpretation of a blog vs. a web site is pretty simple. I see a blog as a site where someone posts a thought or discussion, encouraging more thoughts and discussion to gain feedback on that topic. A web site is something I see as a resource for people to share information, products (when looking to sell something), and in some cases attempt to gain the support of others (possibly in the case of a fundraiser. That may be too simplistic, but if I were to sum it up quickly, that would be mow I'd explain it. Thoughts?
Resource Room when?
The question I'm posing in my first blog is "Resource Room when?" When is it time to remove a child from the general education setting and place him/her in an alternate educational setting? Does this vary by age? From grade to grade? Is the bar different for Language Arts, than it is for Mathematics? Many districts are moving away from this model to co-teaching, but is this just to save money? Or is it simply that the RR model should be a thing of the past?
